Rolex
The Brief
Rolex runs one of the most tightly governed brand systems in the world. A retailer's website is treated as part of the brand, held to a single global standard in every market, and nothing goes live until Switzerland has seen it.
GASSER, the official Rolex retailer in Egypt since 1975, needed that standard met in full. The complete collections had to be presented exactly as Rolex specifies and localised for Egypt without a single deviation, with pages, images and structured data all reviewed and approved at source.
The site also had two readers to satisfy at once. One is a client in Cairo researching a watch they may take years to decide on. The other is a brand team in Switzerland checking that no detail has drifted.
What We Made
We planned, structured and built a 142-page platform for the Rolex collections in Egypt in-house, then submitted it for approval page by page.
Product, collection and section pages follow Rolex's global specification throughout, from titles and hierarchy to imagery, alternative text and metadata. We rebuilt the navigation and breadcrumbs so a visitor can travel from the brand down to a single reference without losing the thread.
Beneath the pages runs a full layer of structured data, schema and search foundations, which makes the platform as legible to a search engine as it is to a collector. The Rolex section also carries enterprise analytics and a bespoke store map drawn in Rolex's own palette.
The site is maintained, extended and reviewed continuously, in step with each collection Rolex releases.
